Fedem Technology is heavily involved in research and development projects, both in connection with own projects and as partner in external projects. A significant part of our research is based on the development of methods for advanced analysis, but also concept development and customization of software are typical research activities.

Fedem Technology was approved in 2010 as a "Public R&D institution in SkatteFUNN", which means that our customers can use us as a research partner on equal basis as for instance NTNU. Read more about this and the arrangements that apply under the "Public approved R&D institution".

Fedem Technology has currently several research projects going on, and we are also partner in external R&D activities, where NOWITECH, University of London and NTNU can be mentioned as partners for the majority of the activities.

In particular, wind power is an area where there will be a lot of research in the near future. FEDEM Windpower, as an advanced tool for wind turbine simulations, is frequently used in R&D projects.

We have a goal and desire to be the preferred partner and supplier of software and analysis services for R&D projects, both nationally and internationally.
