FEDEM

fedemsw01_FEDEM is a tool for dynamic simulation of mechanical systems with one or more parts. Each part may be represented by an element model so that the structural flexibility of all parts is included in the analysis of the whole system.

FEDEM can be used to investigate motions and vibrations in the system, and subsequently stresses, strains and lifetime of the structure.

Examples of applications where FEDEM have been used with success include offshore wind turbines, suspension for automobiles, robotics, process equipment, wellheads, as well as rigid and flexible risers.

FEDEM's particular strength is its unique capability to rapidly analyse large systems and to simulate long time series of complex events.

The development of FEDEM began in 1983, and the software has been commercially available since 1994.

FEDEM is continuously developed to meet new and stringent demands set by ourselves and our customers.
